I came across this from an email that was sent to me. Canada has an interesting idea, I wonder if it has made an impact on wildlife/car accidents?The first picture is of elk using a railroad bridge over the TransCanada highway to cross. The bottom two are of an overpass and an underpass on the same highway specifically designed to allow wild animals to cross the highway. They use special fencing, Texas gates (the grate built into a road) and one-way gates to "herd" the animals toward the crossings.
