Since it's the new year, I thought I'd try to get back on the bandwagon with my Thursday Thirteen lists. Then maybe I'd actually get on the blogroll!
1. Getting a new car/SUV/something. Actually we're looking now, so that we can replace my poor old '98 Chevy truck that has 172,000 miles on it.
2. Going to Phoenix at the end of January!!!
3. I finally get to work during the week!!!! Between my kids, my hubby and myself I think we're at the end of our respective ropes with me working weekends. Worse yet, it's been weekend nights.
4. Our 10-year anniversary is this March. There have been good times and bad, but we've gotten farther than a lot of other couples. I know I'm listing this below getting to change my shift, but if I hadn't had the promise of eventually getting to change my shift, I think the family would have gone off the deep end.
5. Looking for and eventually finding a new house! We are bursting at the seams in the 1396 sq. ft. house that we are barely managing to fit us, 3 kids, a cat and a dog into.
6. Trying to get back into shape. Since I'm not working weekends anymore, I'll have more time to exercise, and maybe I won't have to do it alone.
7. I would love to take 3 trips this year. I love to travel, and haven't been able to really for a while. This does not include camping.
8. Camping. The kids have loved going camping with my parents, and with us when we can get a cabin (or Kabin for those of you who frequent KOA Kampgrounds!) It's one reason why I'm leaning toward a Kia Sportage.
9. Getting organized. This one will make my hubby laugh, but I really really want to get better organized this year. I especially need to be better organized at home, which is obviously hardest.
10. Getting the kids involved in more activities. We tend to be homebodies, which means that getting the kids out and involved is somewhat of a struggle.
11. Seeing my daughter officially graduate from Kindergarten. She was in a kindergarten class when she was in daycare, but because of her birthdate (which in a way I see their point, but I mostly think it's a crock) she had to repeat kindergarten.
12. Getting Patrick through 2nd grade. That boy's had a rough year. What is it about even number years in school? All the even number years when I was in school all sucked. Call me superstitious, but by my senior year I was devoutly wishing I could just skip the year and go on to college.
13. Getting to actually spend time with my family. I am truly looking forward to having time to spend with my family!

1300 sq ft???? with 3 kids???? Holy crap. I know "back in the day" larger families lived in smaller homes, but now days that just seems like torture.
I hope you get to go on 3 trips!
We are trying to plan the big Disneyland trip this year ourselves.
This is a list that speaks "life"
I totally approve.
travelling is my thing too. In fact, I'll be in Phoenix also.......
but in March!
Damn, almost.
Sounds like a good plan to me.

Wonderful list...hope it all comes true!
Peace
Wow ! 1300sq ft ? I agree with Karmyn that's almost a castle for European standards ! When I think we only have 496 and our house is considered big !! Anyway there would be now ground to buy for such a house or only deep in the country ! And I don't think about the price ! Here in my area a house of our size would cost about 500.000 $ ! But the rest of your list is very nice !
1300 sq. ft.! what a mansion!
I tease that I'm going to move out of our dinky house & into the garage, which is literally the larger of the 2!
Gattina must be my neighbor.
A duplex (2 1 bedroom units)just sold a block down for $950k
enjoy your new year!
